Assets & Property; Wealth

A Commodity, such as gold, or an officially issued coin or paper note that is legally established as an exchangeable equivalent of all other commodities, such as goods and services, and is used as a measure of their comparative values on the market

A man is rich according to what he is…not according to what he has.

A penny saved is a penny earned. But a penny spent is a penny enjoyed.

A rich person is not the one who has the most but who needs the least.

Always remember money is not everything. . but make sure that you have made lots of it before talking such nonsense.                                                – Bill Gates

Bury my body, do not build any monument. Keep my hand outside, so that world knows, one who won the world had nothing in hand when died.            – Alexander

Don’t spend money you haven’t earned to buy things you don’t need to impress people you don’t like.

Early in life, people give up their health to gain wealth… in later life they give their wealth to regain health.

First you learn how to earn money. Then you learn how to make money. Finally you learn how to hire other people and get them to make money for you.

He that is of the opinion money will do everything may well be doing everything for money.                                                                               – Benjamin Franklin

If you make a lot of money, put it to use helping others while you are living. That is wealth’s greatest satisfaction.

If you want to feel rich just count all the things you have that money can’t buy.

In process of acquiring money, we may lose things which money just cannot buy.

It’s good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it’s good , too, to check once in a whil.e and make sure that you haven’t lost the things that money can’t buy.                                                                         – George Horace Lorimer

Money speaks so loud, it can make lot of people dumb.

Poor begs outside temple, rich begs inside.

Poor man Runs for HIS daily food, while Rich man Runs to DIGEST his Daily Food.

Richness is not Earning More, Spending More, OR Saving More… Richness is when you need “NO MORE.”

The best investment is to put your money for becoming number one in your field.

There are 2 ways to be rich. One is to have all you want another is to be satisfied with what you have.

There is nothing at all wrong with having money unless money has you.

Too many people spend money they have not earned, to buy things they do not need, to impress people they do not like.

We must make money work for us, or spend the rest of our life working for money.

What is offered for free is dangerous- it usually involves either a trick or a hidden obligation. What has worth is worth paying for. By paying your own way you stay clear of gratitude, guilt and deceit.

Whenever you want to know how rich you are do not count your money just drop a tear from your eye and see how many hands are there to wipe it.

The Miser

A miser, to make sure of his property, sold all that he had and converted it in to a great lump of gold, which he hid in a hole in the ground, and went continually to visit and inspect it. This roused the curiosity of one of his workmen, who, suspecting that there was a treasure, when his master’s back was turned, went to the spot, and stole it away. When the miser returned and the found the place empty, he wept and tore his hair. But a neighbor who saw him in this extravagant grief, and learned the cause of it, said: “Fret thyself no longer, but take a stone and put it in the same place, and think that it is your lump of gold; for, as your never meant to use it, the one will do you as much good as the other.” Fables, Aesop Century b. C.

Moral of the story :

The worth of money is not in its possession, but in its use.

Coal to New Castle

A rich man was near death, and was saddened because he had worked so hard for his money, and he wanted to take it with him to heaven. So, he began to pray that he might to be able to take some of his wealth along. An angle heard his plea and appeared to him. “Sorry,” the angle said, “but you can’t take your wealth with you.” The man implored the angle to speak to God to see if he might make an allowance. The man continued to pray that his wealth could fallow him. The angle reappeared and informed the man that God had decided to allow him to take one suitcase, filled it with pure gold bars, and placed it beside his bed. Soon afterwards the man died and showed up the gates of heaven to greet St. Peter. St. Peter, seeing the suitcase, said, “Hold on, you can’t bring that in here!” The man explained to St. Peter that he had permission, and told him to verify his story with God. St. Peter checked and came back saying, “You’re right. You are allowed one carry-on bag, I’m supposed to check its contents before letting it through.” He opened the suitcase to inspect the worldly items that the man found too precious to leave behind, and exclaimed, “You brought PAVEMENT?”
