The true facts about something

The quality or state of being based on fact

The fact that is believed by most people to be true

A lie will add to your trouble, subtract your energy, multiply your difficulties and divide your effectiveness.

Buddha left his place in search of truth & we are in search of place at the cost of truth.

Difference Between TRUTH & LIE: TRUTH is a Debit card; Pay first & enjoy . later. LIE is a Credit card; enjoy first & pay later!

Every dispute has 3 dimensions. My view, your view and truth.

Everyone thinks that the TRUTH should be on their side BUT Nobody wants to be on the side of the TRUTH.

How unfortunate we are to live in this world where affidavit is more powerful than truth.                                                                                        – Hemant C. Lodha

Humans tell the TRUTH in TWO situations: ONE: to SAVE WHAT they are LOSING, TWO: when they have NOTHING to loose.

Hurt me with the truth but never comfort me with a lie.

No matter how fast the lie, in the end the truth will pass it.           – Dutch Proverb

Person with short memory should not lie.

The lie you tell today will force you to lie again tomorrow.     – Brahma Kumaris

The real test of honesty is carried out in the face of temptation.

Those who think it is permissible to tell ‘white lies’ soon grow colour blind.

To be persuasive, we must be believable. To be believable, we must be credible. To be credible, we must be truthful.                                       – Edward R. Morrow

Truth and oil always come to the top.                                         – French Proverb

Truth exists, lies created.

Truth is not determined by the volume of the voice.

Truth like surgery may hurt but it cures.

When money talks, truth remains silent.

When someone LIES to us its not one’s fault. Actually its ours, because, we didn’t give the person’ the comfort level to tell the truth.

Where there is honesty there is flexibility.

A man once visited a temple under construction where he saw a sculptor making an idol of God. Suddenly he noticed a similar idol lying nearby.

Surprised, he asked the sculptor, “Do you need two statues of the same idol?” “No,” said the sculptor without looking up, “We need only one, but the first one got damaged at the last stage.”

The gentleman examined the idol and found no apparent damage. “Where is the damage?” he asked.

“There is a scratch on the nose of the idol.” said the sculptor, still busy with his work.

“Where are you going to install the idol?”

The sculptor replied that it would be installed on a pillar twenty feet high.

“If the idol is that far, who is going to know that there is scratch on the nose?” the gentleman asked.

The sculptor stopped his work, looked up at the gentleman, smiled and said, “I will know it.”

Moral of the Story :

The desire to excel is exclusive of the fact whether

someone else appreciates it or not.

“Excellence” is a drive from inside, not outside.

Excel at a task today – not necessarily for someone else

to notice but for your own satisfaction …!
