A situation, matter, or person that presents perplexity or difficulty in progress, success or growth

An Arrow can be shot only by dragging it back, So whenever life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it is going to launch you in to victory.

An obstacle in your mind is worse than obstacle on your path.

Compare your dreams with your problems. If you love the dreams than problems will become very small & if your problem is big it means you are not honest with your dreams.

Difficulties are meant to rouse, not discourage. The human spirit is to grow strong by conflict.                                                               – William Ellery Channing

Difficulties in our life do not come to destroy us but to help us realise our hidden potential. Let the difficulties know that we are more difficult. Do not allow anything to be an obstacle. See everything as a stepping stone to victory.

For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin – real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.

– Alfred D. Souza

Greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it.

Half of sorrow we earn by expecting good things from wrong people. Another Half of sorrow We earn by expecting wrong things from good people.

Half of the problems in life are because we ACT without thinking and rest half is because we keep THINKING without acting.

Hard Times Are Like a Washing Machine They Twist, Turn & Knock Us Around, But In The End we Come Out Cleaner, Brighter & Better.

Help other people to cope with their problems and your own will be easier to cope with.

I cried when I had no shoes, but I stopped crying when I saw a man without legs.

I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed.                                                             – Booker T. Washington

If we are not part of the solution, then we are the problem.

If we stand up to our obstacles and do something about them, We will find that they haven’t half the strength we think they have.

If you bang your head against the wall when problems come, your brain will get messed up.                                                                              – Brahma Kumaris

Most of the stress in our life is not from problems but from our reaction to the problems.

Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.

One of the nice thing about problems is that a good many of them do not exist except in our imagination.

One thing I like about the stones that come in my way is…Once I pass them, they become my MILESTONES.                                                 – Swami vivekanand

People who have overcome obstacles are more secure than those who have never faced them.

Problem is an absence of idea.

Problem is simply an opportunity to learn.

Problems are like little stones. If you keep them near to eyes they hide your vision. If you keep them at distance yOu can see how small they are.

Real difficulties can be overcome. It is only imaginary ones that are unconquerable.

Real problem is just the big gap between expectations and reality. Either expect less and accept reality or expect a lot and turn into reality.

Root cause of major problems is lack of synchronisation between intention and action.

Running away from problem only increases distance from solution.

Smooth road never makes a good driver. Problem free life never makes a strong person.

Big Rocks

One day, an expert in time management was speaking to a group of business students and, to drive home a point, used an illustration those students will never forget. As he stood in front of the group of high-powered over achievers he said, “Okay, time for a quiz” and he pulled out a one-gallon, wide-mouth jar and set it on the table in front of him. He also produced about a dozen first-sized rocks and carefully placed them, one at a time, in the jar. When the jar was filled to the top and no more rocks would fit inside, he asked, “Is this jar full?” Everyone in the class yelled, “Yes.”

The time management expert replied, “Really?” He reached under the table and pulled out a bucket of gravel. He dumped some gravel in the shook the jar causing pieces of gravel to work themselves down in to the spaces between the big rocks. He them asked the group once more, “Is the jar full?” By this time the class was on to him. “Probably not,” one of them answered. “Good!” he replied. He reached under the table and brought out a bucket of sand. He started dumping the sand in the jar and it went in to all of the spaces left between the rocks and the gravel.

Once more he asked the question, “Is this jar full?” “No!” the class shouted. Once again he said, “Good.” Then he grabbed a pitcher of water and began to pour it in until the jar was filled to the brim. Them he looked at the class and asked, “What is the point of this illustration?” One eager beaver raised his hand and said, “The point is, no matter how full your schedule is, if you try really hard you can always fit some more thing in it!”

“No,” the speaker replied, “That’s not the point. The truth this illustration teaches us is: If you don’t put the big rocks in first, you’ll never get them in at aiL”

What are the “BIG ROCKS” in your lifetime? Your loved ones, your faith, your education, your dreams, a worthy cause, teaching or mentoring others?

Remember to put these BIG ROCKS in first or you’ll never get them in at all.

Moral of the story :

If you prioritize activities based on

importance, you may rarely face emergencies.
