Ratnakarand Shravakachar is originally written by Acharya Shri Samantbhadra Swami in Sanskrit around AD 2nd century. It has 159 sutra arranged in 7 chapters. Hindi and English translation is done by many scholars and available in print books and online on internet. To understand it in more depth I have translated in simple Hindi Doha. Earlier I have translated Bhagvad Geeta, Astavakra Geeta, Chanakya Niti, Samansuttam and Tattvarthsutra in Hindi Doha. Translation from one language to another can never give 100% understanding of original work so I seek forgiveness for any mistake in doing so.

I express my sincere thanks to all the divines forces and my Gurus who are giving me continuous aspiration to go through ancient spiritual literatures, understand those and translate in simple Hindi poetry in form of DOHA. I specially thanks to Pandit Viiin Jain Shastri and Dr. Sanjeev Godha for their online discourses on various Jainism Agams which helps me in better understanding of Jain Agams.

रत्नकरण्डश्रावाकाचार में चार शब्द है। रत्न jewels, करण्ड box, श्रावक householder, आचार conduct. श्रावक का आचार कैसा होना चाहिए उस पर आचार्य श्री समन्तभद्र स्वामी ने १५० श्लोक रत्नों की पेटी के रुप में हमें प्रदान किये है।
