Identification with and understanding of another’s situation, feelings, and motives

A beautiful relationship does not depend on how good we understand someone, but it depends on how well we avoid misunderstanding.

A person who can explain the meaning of Colour to a BLIND, can explain everything in LIFE.

Always put yourself in other’s shoes. If you feel that it hurts you it probably hurts the other person too.

Be silent when one can’t understand our feelings & when one can understand our feelings, words are not needed.

Better understand a little than misunderstand a lot.

Expression of face can be read by whole world but the depression of heart can be understood by only special one.

Eyes speak more when heart starts listening to someone silently and life seems to be more exciting when someone start reading your eyes silently.

I say and you listen is good friendship, You say and I listen is better friendship and You don’t say and I understand is best friendship.

If you don’t understand your friend’s silence, you will never understand his words.

In Friendship, Words Can Go Unspoken, Yet Still Be Understood!

It is the heart always that sees, before the eyes can see.

Life is like music; it must be composed by ear, feeling, and instinct, not by rule.

LISTEN and SILENT are two words with same alphabets. Only a true friend can listen you when you are silent.

Maturity is not when we start speaking “BIG things”, But actually it is, when we start understanding “small things”.

 

No sound in this world can be louder than silence and if someone can not understand your silence they can never understand your words.

Never explain yourself to anyone. Because person who likes you doesn’t need it & the person who dislikes you wont believe it.

Only when we listen, we hear ideas different from our own.

Seek understanding not agreement.

Sympathy is,”I understand how you feel” Empathy is, ” I feel how you feel” Empathy is listening with understanding. While listening use your ears, eyes as well as heart.

To empathize is to be bothered enough to take action to alleviate another’s pain.

A Puppy

A boy went to the pet store to buy a puppy. Four of them were sitting together, priced at $50 each. Then there was one sitting alone in a corner. The boy asked if what was from the same litter, if it was fro sale, and why it was sitting alone. The storeowner replied that it was from the same litter; it was a deformed one, and not for sale. The boy asked what the deformity was. The storeowner replied that he puppy was born without a hip socket and had a leg missing. The boy asked, “What will you do with this one?”The reply was it would be put to sleep. The boy asked if he could pick the puppy up and the puppy licked him on the ear. Instantly the boy decided that was the puppy he wanted to buy. The storeowner said, “That is not for sale!” The boy insisted. The storeowner agreed. The boy pulled out $2 from his pocket and ran to get $48 from his mother. As he reached the door the storeowner shouted after him, “I don’t understand why you would pay full money for this one when you could buy a good one for the same price.” The boy didn’t say a word. He just lifted his left trouser leg and he was wearing a brace. The pet storeowner said. “I understand. Go ahead, take this one.”This is empathy.

Moral of the story :

Hear with your ears but listen with your heart.

 

Every move, every word disturbs my silent pain,

Only released by tears of torrential rain.

Someone hurt you and unknowingly pierced my heart,

without remorse, without a sense of shame.

 

Your pain is our pain to share,
